The Story So Far...

 

Biltong UK is a joint venture by two friends - Tom Weyers and Matthew Martin. We are both from South Africa, But met in England 5 years ago.

Fed up with not being able to find out staple diet on demand, (well, we had the beer, but no Biltong!) We decided to start making Biltong ourselves.

Armed with a clothes drying rack, a fan and some paperclips, we were ready to make Biltong!

So, in a boiler room, hidden underneath a pub we ran, we made Biltong for Africa (or should I say England?) Now, 5 years later, we decided to share our stories and secrets with other South Africans in the UK.

With more sophisticated equipment, and a commercial kitchen at our disposal, we aim to bring GOOD QUALITY Biltong, Biltong spices and Biltong making equipment to South Africans all around the UK.
